The federal government shutdown means Colorado cannot send food benefits to approximately 615,000 Coloradans, including 34,000 Larimer County residents, who rely on SNAP.

The Food Bank for Larimer County could see an increased demand for support between both the shut down and the suspension of benefits starting November 1.

Blue Margin has generously offered to match employee donations to Food Bank for Larimer County up to $2,500.
